Local Veteran Opens New Appliance Repair Business

Join Us For Our Chamber Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Jeffrey and Debra Luca, owners of Mr. Appliancer of Southeastern Jacksonville, announce the startup of their full-service appliance repair business.

The Beaches Division of Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony, Tuesday, Jan. 4 at 10 a.m. at the Chamber to celebrate the new appliance repair business.

"Mr. Appliance of Southeastern Jacksonville will have the personal touch of a locally owned operation," Luca said. "The technology and systems in place at Mr. Appliance will help us deliver faster, more reliable service."

Before the Luca's purchased a Mr. Appliance franchise, Jeffrey served in the United States military for 24 years and has continued to grow and serve through the Rhode Island National Air Guard. Through the Luca's leadership experiences, they plan to create jobs and generate business for their community, as well as provide great service to their customers.

"We follow a professional system at Mr. Appliance. Our service professionals wear shoe covers inside homes and use a menu pricing guide so there are no surprises," said Doug Rogers, president of Mr. Appliance Corp. "We're delighted that Jeffrey and Debra have joined us, and we believe their business will be successful because we all operate under the same core values."

Upon purchasing the business, the Luca's attended a five-day training course on the latest technology and customer service techniques.

"When we started researching for our own business, we wanted something that would give us the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others," Luca said. "When we found Mr. Appliance, we knew it was the right business for us."

Mr. Appliance of Southeastern Jacksonville serves St. Johns and Duval counties.
