This session will provide an overview of the many opportunities to help first-year students build a strong academic experience at Notre Dame. Discussions will include topics such as working with your academic advisor, using campus resources to support your academic work and what to expect in the first weeks of classes. Transfer & Adult Student Meeting and Got Honor? 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Knott 110
Transfer and adult students will discuss relevant academic/non-academic issues and concerns. Students will learn more about academic expectations, College policies/procedures, Honor Code, specialized programs and majors. Meet the School Sisters of Notre Dame (SSNDs) and enjoy “The SSND Dialogues,” a creative performance depicting the journey of the School Sisters to America. Facilitator: Mary Roy Weiss, SSND, coordinator of liturgical services

Join President Seurkamp and the entire Notre Dame community for lunch, a blessing from the SSNDs and a new Notre Dame tradition.
Collegiate Learning Assessment (CLA) 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Knott 126/Rice 101 and 102
This is not a test! This assessment helps us to determine how we can help you enhance your critical thinking, analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills. Students will be grouped by IDS class section. Stop by the SLIC desk in Doyle or speak with your OL or RA to confirm your designated time to take the CLA.
