ALTOONA, Pa. - Randy W. Tarpey, certified public accountant, was elected president of the Central Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) for the 2010-2011 fiscal year.
Tarpey is a partner with Harry K. Sickler Associates in Tyrone, Pa. He has volunteered his time over the years to many Central Chapter committees, including the Relations with Schools and Colleges Committee, Practitioners Committee, and Executive Committee. Tarpey, an Altoona resident, earned a bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University.

He is a member of the board of directors of St. Francis University's Stokes Club and is a supervisory committee member of ARC Federal Credit Union. Field, a graduate of St. Francis University, resides in Roaring Spring, Pa.
Treasurer: Robert G. Okonak Jr., CPA, is a partner with Ciocca, Benton & Okonak PC in Altoona. He is involved with Growth and Relationships of Young Professionals. Okonak, a graduate of Susquehanna University, resides in Altoona.
