Press Release: N.E. Philadelphia Resident Wins Service Award from Pa. Nonprofit

PHILADELPHIA - Charles P. Elliott, a certified public accountant, received a Volunteer Service Award from the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).

Elliott, who was honored at the chapter's annual meeting on May 7, received the award for outstanding service and demonstrated contributions to the chapter and PICPA through active participation in volunteer opportunities. He is an active member of the chapter's Cooperation with the Bar Committee and former chair. He is also a member of the state's Pennsylvania CPA Journal Editorial Board and the Forensic and Litigation Services Committee. Elliott has also participated in many tax phone banks on behalf of PICPA and has delivered presentations to students and adults through PICPA's Speakers Bureau.

Elliott has his own public accounting practice, Charles P. Elliott PC, in Cheltenham, and he specializes in forensic accounting.
