Other Area CPAs to Serve as Officers of PICPA's Northeastern Chapter

MOOSIC, Pa. - Adam Kamor, certified public accountant, was elected president of the Northeastern Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) for the 2010-2011 fiscal year.

Kamor is managing member of Decker Accounting LLC in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. In addition to chapter president, Kamor serves on the chapter's Emerging CPAs Committee. He holds a bachelor's degree from Wilkes University and a master's degree in taxation from Farleigh Dickinson University.

Other 2010-2011 officers elected at PICPA's Northeastern Chapter annual meeting include the following:

President-Elect: Patricia A. Gendler, CPA, is controller of CAN Do Inc. in Hazleton, Pa. Gendler, a resident of Mountain Top, Pa., holds a bachelor's degree from Penn State University.

Secretary: Marc T. Decowski, CPA, is a senior manager with ParenteBeard LLC in Wilkes-Barre. In addition to serving on the chapter's Emerging CPAs Committee, he is a member of the Undergraduate Programs Advisory Board at Wilkes University. Decowski, a Mountain Top resident, is a graduate of King's College.

Treasurer: Philip C. Keaney, CPA, is a partner with JH Williams & Company LLP in Kingston, Pa. Keaney, a Shavertown, Pa., resident, earned a bachelor's degree from King's College.
