PRESS RELEASE: Elizabethtown Resident to Lead Chapter of State Association

Other Area CPAs to Serve as Officers of PICPA's South Central Chapter

CAMP HILL, Pa. - Michael F. De Stefano, certified public accountant, was elected president of the South Central Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) for the 2011-2012 fiscal year.

De Stefano is CFO for Petroleum Products Corp. in Middletown, Pa. In addition to his chapter leadership role, De Stefano has chaired the Emerging CPAs Committee and the Accounting and Auditing Committee for PICPA. He is a graduate of Bloomsburg University.

Other 2011-2012 officers elected at PICPA's South Central Chapter annual meeting include the following:

President-Elect: Brian E. Mullen, CPA, is a sales tax specialist at Saint-Grobain Corp. in Valley Forge, Pa. Mullen is also a member of PICPA's Relations with Schools and Colleges Committee. Outside of his service for PICPA, Mullen is a varsity-level PIAA basketball official. He is a graduate of Bloomsburg University.

Secretary: Joshua A. Bantz, CPA, is a supervisor with McKonly & Asbury LLP in Camp Hill. He is past treasurer of the South Central Chapter. Bantz, a Lancaster resident, holds a bachelor's degree from Juniata College.

Treasurer: Michelle L. Sweigard, CPA, is a controller for New World Pasta Co. in Harrisburg. She is a former co-chair of PICPA's South Central Chapter Emerging CPAs and Lifestyles and Family Issues committees. Sweigard is a Harrisburg resident.
