PRESS RELEASE: Erie Resident Wins Service Award from Pa. Nonprofit

ERIE, Pa. - David M. Pianta, a certified public accountant, received a Volunteer Service Award from the Erie Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).

Pianta, who was honored at the chapter's annual meeting on May 12, received the award for outstanding service and demonstrated contributions to the chapter and PICPA through active participation in volunteer opportunities. He is chair of the Community Involvement and Social Responsibility Committee for the Erie Chapter. He is also an Erie Chapter past president. In addition to his volunteer leadership with PICPA, Pianta is active in his local community as the president of the board of directors for Lakeshore Community Service Inc.

Pianta, a graduate of Penn State University, is a partner with Appletree & Kern PC in Erie.
