PRESS RELEASE:Harrisburg-Area CPAs to Serve on Pa. Association's Council

HARRISBURG, Pa. - Certified public accountants Lisa A. Myers and James H. Steeley were elected to volunteer leadership positions within the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) at its annual meeting, held this year in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
Myers, of Hummelstown, Pa., was elected vice president of PICPA's Council. She is a partner with Boyer & Ritter CPAs and Consultants in Camp Hill, Pa. Myers currently serves on the Forensic and Litigation Services Committee, Lifestyles and Family Issues Committee, Local Government Accounting and Auditing Committee, and PICPA's Foundation Board of Directors. She is a past president of PICPA's South Central Chapter. She received her bachelor's degree from Penn State University.
Steeley, of New Cumberland, Pa., was elected to the Committee on Professional Ethics for a three-year term expiring in 2014. He is assistant vice president of finance for PSECU in Harrisburg. Steeley is a member of PICPA's South Central Chapter Executive Committee, and serves on the PICPA Financial Institutions Committee. Steeley is also the vice chairman of the Fairview Township Zoning Hearing Board and a member of the Elizabethtown College Business Alumni Reunion Committee. He is a graduate of Elizabethtown College.
