Press Release: Montoursville Resident to Lead Chapter of State Association

Other Area CPAs to Serve as Officers of PICPA's North Central Chapter

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Thomas C. Graver Jr., certified public accountant, was elected president of the North Central Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) for the 2011-2012 fiscal year.

Graver is the senior vice president and chief financial officer of Mifflinburg Bank and Trust Company in Mifflinburg, Pa. He currently serves on the PICPA CPA Image Enhancement Committee and the Relations with Schools and Colleges Committee. In addition to his service with PICPA, Graver is a member of the board of trustees for Albright Care Services. He received his bachelor's degree from Bloomsburg University.
Other 2011-2012 officers elected at PICPA's North Central Chapter annual meeting include the following:

President-Elect: Jeffrey L. Bennett, CPA, is a senior manager with ParenteBeard LLC in Williamsport. He is past president of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lycoming County and a volunteer soccer coach for the Montoursville School District and Loyalsock AYSO. Bennett, a Williamsport resident, received his bachelor's degree from Lycoming College.

Secretary: Gladys I. Asadi, CPA, is an auditor with Klein & Rizzo Inc. in Williamsport. In addition to her committee involvement with PICPA, she serves as finance council chair and school council treasurer at Lock Haven Catholic School. Asadi, a Lock Haven, Pa., resident, received her bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania College of Technology.

Treasurer: Albert Meale, CPA, is a manager at ParenteBeard LLC in Williamsport. Meale is a member of PICPA's Relations with Schools and Colleges Committee in for the North Central chapter. The Williamsport resident received his bachelor's degree from LaSalle University.
