Friel is a shareholder with Schneider Downs in Pittsburgh. He previously was a member of PICPA's Pittsburgh Chapter Executive and Cooperation with the Bar committees. Friel is active in his local community. He is vice president of the Catholic Charities Diocese of Pittsburgh and a coach for the Cranberry Township Athletic Association. He has a bachelor's degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Swope, of Apollo, Pa., is a director of accounting and auditing at Lally & Co. LLC in Pittsburgh. He is a member of the PICPA's Employee Benefits Plan (EBP) Technical Issue and EBP Conference Planning subcommittees. Swope was previously a member of the Peer Review Committee, Accounting and Auditing Committee, and Budget and Finance Committee. He is a graduate of the University of Florida.
