PRESS RELEASE: Pittsburgh Resident Wins Service Award from Pa. Nonprofit

PITTSBURGH - Paul A. Mavrinac, a certified public accountant, received a Volunteer Service Award from the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).

Mavrinac, who was honored at the chapter's annual meeting on May 16, received the award for outstanding service and demonstrated contributions to the chapter and PICPA through active participation in volunteer opportunities. Mavrinac is chair of PICPA's Nominations Committee for the Pittsburgh Chapter, and is also a member of the Member Services and Employee Benefits Plan committees.

"I am honored to receive such an award from my esteemed peers at the Pittsburgh Chapter of the PICPA," said Mavrinac. "Also, I am thankful to all the chapter members and their families and friends that have volunteered their time and finances to everything from Presents for Patients to the Pittsburgh Food Bank. Mavrinac, who received his bachelor's degree from California State University and his master's degree from Robert Morris University, is a partner with McCrory & McDowell LLC in Pittsburgh.
