Press Release: State College CPAs Named to Volunteer Leadership Positions with State Association

STATE COLLEGE, Pa.- Certified public accountants Joseph P. Fedeli and Thomas J. Taricani were named to volunteer leadership positions within the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) at its annual meeting, held this year in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
Fedeli, of State College, Pa., was elected to the Nominations Committee for a three-year term expiring in 2014. He is a partner with Fiore Fedeli Snyder Carothers LLP in State College. Fedeli is a member of PICPA's Local Government Accounting and Auditing Committee. He is also a past president of PICPA's Central Chapter and a former chair of the Technical Meetings and Chapter CPE Programs and the Taxation and Annual Meetings committees for PICPA's Central Chapter. Fedeli received his bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University.
Taricani, of State College, was elected Trustee of the Scholarship Fund for a five-year term expiring in 2016. He is a partner specializing in taxation, valuation, and litigation with Boyer & Ritter CPAs in State College. Taricani is chair of PICPA's Federal Taxation Committee and former chair of the Central Chapter Speakers Bureau. Taricani is also a former member of the Forensic and Litigation Services Committee and the Cooperation with the Bar Committee. He is active in the community, serving as treasurer for the Centre County YMCA, a member of the finance committee for Mt. Nittany Medical Center, chair of finance for Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, and president of the Louis Silvi Foundation. Taricani received his bachelor's degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), and his master's in business administration from East Carolina University.
