PHILADELPHIA - Adam Kamor, a certified public accountant from Wilkes-Barre, Pa., was elected to a two-year term on the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants' (PICPA) Council at its annual meeting, held this year in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
His term on the governing body will expire in 2013.
Kamor is an owner/managing member with Decker Accounting LLC in Wilkes-Barre. He is immediate past president of PICPA's Northeastern Chapter Executive Committee, is currently on PICPA's Northeastern Chapter Emerging CPAs Committee, and is chair of PICPA's Northeastern Chapter Nomination Committee.
Kamor is a graduate of Wilkes University and received his master's degree from Fairleigh Dickenson University.
