The oldest members of the Baby Boomer generation will be eligible for Medicare this year as they turn 65. AARP estimates that Medicare will gain 7,000 potential recipients per day in 2011. This will put a huge strain on the Medicare system and may leave retirees wishing they had other forms of income to cover what Medicare doesn't.
