DENVER-- The 2012 Kaiser Permanente Colfax Marathon invites local non-profits to participate in one of the nation’s largest charity partner programs! Charities recruit runners to raise funds and participate in the marathon, half marathon, relay or new 10 mile race on May 20, 2012. Charity Partners keep 100% of the funds they raise.

“Part of our race mission is to encourage healthy habits in our community,” said Jean Townsend, DaVita Charity Partners Program Manager. “Our Charity Partner Program is in its fourth year and with 73 charities participating in 2011, it is one of the largest in the country.”
