1 February 2012 - The Sage ERP X3 Global Sales and R&D Convention, held from 10-13 January in Paris, attracted over 500 attendees including 160 partners during the Partner Days. Over 25 countries were represented at the Convention, which was hailed a great success by attendees from Sage’s subsidiaries and the partner community worldwide.

Christophe Letellier, CEO of Sage ERP X3, kicked off the Convention by stating: “Sage ERP X3 is one of the major engines for Sage’s growth. With the people we have, we can deliver outstanding growth and we can do it even in a difficult economic environment. We have everything we need to be successful.”

Christophe Letellier continued, “We had fantastic attendance at this Global Sales and R&D Convention, beating all our early estimates. In addition we have received some very encouraging feedback from Sage subsidiaries and partners, who found a lot of value in being able to deepen their knowledge of the product, put faces to names and build new relationships. Our theme, ‘Powered for Growth’ is definitely where I see us in 2012 internationally.”

Awards for the partners were held at a gala dinner at La Coupole du Printemps in Paris. The following partners were presented with awards:

  • GFI Morocco – Top Sage ERP X3 Partner in Export Region (Morocco)
  • Times 3 Technology - Highest Sales in South Africa for Sage ERP X3 (South Africa)
  • SWK - Top Sage ERP X3 Growth Partner in North America (North America)
  • Tangerine - Highest License Sales in Canada for Sage ERP X3 (Canada)
  • Formula – Highest Sage ERP X3’s Turnover Outside France (Italy)
  • Absys Cyborg - Largest Number of Sales on Sage ERP X3 Standard Edition (France)
  • Kardol - Best Win Ratio and Business Strategy for Sage ERP X3 Standard Edition and Sage ERP X3 Premium Edition (France)
  • CWI - First Sage ERP X3 Indirect Deal in Germany with WinWest (Germany)
  • Process Control - First Sage ERP X3 Standard Edition Deal in Spain (Spain)
  • FlowLine – Sage ERP X3’s contract signed on the day of the award ceremony (Switzerland)

A guest appearance was made by Paul Harrison, CFO of The Sage Group, at the close of the Convention on Friday morning. He stated, “Sage ERP X3 is one of our top priorities for the Group overall. Sage ERP X3’s sales licenses have increased by 31% in the past year which is higher than any other major product within Sage and signals the potential for growth internationally. I view the prospects for growth outside of France as particularly strong.”

Klaus Michael Vogelberg, CTO of The Sage Group commented, “I was very happy to participate in the success of the Sage ERP X3 Global Sales and R&D Convention.
