A typical swimmer that swims all year round will put in 6,000 to 10,000 yards a day in the pool which equates into 3 to 7 miles a day and up to 50 miles per week. Serious runners don’t log those kinds of miles weekly in some instances. Taking a swimmer that is swimming tons of laps in the pool at fast paced intervals with little rest and adding a dry land personal training program means factoring in all facets of both workouts then devising a written plan that makes the most of all that effort. Upward Motion Personal Training’s staff of certified personal trainers will work together with the swimmer, their coach, and parent, to make sure that the dry land personal training program fits the goals of that swimmer.
