"Chef Symon has five restaurants, four TV shows - including being an Iron Chef on the Food Network - and is a James Beard Foundation Award winner; it's hard to imagine we could have found a better ambassador for the Wisconsin Cheese brand," says Mike Kriefski, Shine's co-founder and creative director. "What makes these episodes so special is that viewers get to see Michael preparing some of his favorite recipes, including some of his signature restaurant dishes, childhood favorites, and even a few classic comfort foods."
The webisodes, airing from September to November, are part of an exciting new campaign introducing Wisconsin Cheese as the ultimate ingredient in favorite recipes. The bite-sized segments, as well as the recipes that consumers will want to try at home, are available on the Eat Wisconsin Cheese website starting September 7th at http://www.eatwisconsincheese.com.
"We're thrilled with the work Shine has done to take the Wisconsin Cheese brand to the next level," says Patrick Geoghegan, senior vice president of communications for the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board. "This is a new and exciting step for Wisconsin Cheese, and we couldn't have picked a better partner to produce such engaging work."
Since being named agency of record in 2008, Shine has generated considerable online engagement for the Wisconsin Cheese brand - with properties such as CheeseCupid.com, CheeseAndBurger.com and GrilledCheeseAcademy.com.
The first "Favorite Foods with Chef Michael Symon" episode premieres September 7th, with new videos to be posted every Monday through November 29th.
