As an agency of record for the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, Shine’s primary mission is to remind consumers that the greatest cheese in the world comes from Wisconsin. And there’s no better platform for this discussion than the grilled cheese sandwich. For decades, it’s been a staple of the American kitchen. Easily prepared and pocketbook friendly, parents have long turned to it as a lunchtime favorite for children. With this in mind, Shine saw the opportunity to change the perception of the grilled cheese sandwich from simple fare to gourmet masterpiece.

From the elegant design and beautiful photography to the intuitive navigation and inviting voiceovers, everything about the Grilled Cheese Academy website adds gourmet flair. Social media–wise, the website is in a league of its own. Utilizing Facebook Connect, it allows visitors to post their own grilled cheese recipes to the Grilled Cheese Academy Gallery, as well as on their Facebook pages. In addition, the site seamlessly integrates Facebook “comments” and “like” functions and social media sharing tools.
