Las Vegas, NV - Hooters Casino Hotel, its Calendar Girls and hotel staff recently held their annual car wash - this year benefiting the the Dave Rice Foundation. More than 75 cars and taxicabs came out on Friday, April 27 to participate in the fundraiser and proceeds from food sales were also included in the fundraising efforts.
“Our staff and guests recognize and appreciate all of Dave Rice’s hard work and remarkable success,” said Steve Dennis, General Manager for Hooters Casino Hotel. “Dave is an amazing role model for youth and adults and we are honored to call him our friend in the community. We also wanted to show our support and gratitude for the taxicab community by offering free car washes for all taxis.”
"Hooters was one of the first hotels that stepped up to support our Foundation after we formed," said D.J. Allen, Vice Chairman of the Dave Rice Foundation. "We appreciate their generosity in choosing the Dave Rice Foundation as the beneficiary of their annual car wash."

On Friday, April 27th all official taxicabs (cars and vans) were offered free car washes and private cars were asked for a $5.00 donation.
