Costa Concordia Victims Continue to Sue Cruise Line

Costa Concordia victims continue to sue the cruise line as more people are joining a class action personal injury lawsuit.

According to the Miami Herald, 39 people have been added to the class action personal injury lawsuit against Costa Cruise Lines.

The cruise line originally offered about $14,500 in compensation to each passenger, which many have turned down as they opted to file personal injury lawsuits instead.

The National Post reports that the victims claim the company committed fraud by claiming it complied with safety regulations and the online agreements that the passengers had to accept in order purchase the tickets did not disclose all information.
