Sundial Group, owners and operators of three luxurious country house conference hotels in the East Midlands and Surrey, have scooped a trio of awards at the prestigious Meetings & Incentive Travel Magazine Awards 2012.
Highgate House in Northamptonshire, the largest of the Sundial Midlands meeting venues, collected bronze in both the Best UK Management Training Centre and Best Value for Money Venue categories. Meanwhile, Sundial Group took away silver for Best Venue Group Meeting Product. Sundial was also recognized for its recent success in the BRDC Continental VenueVerdict Survey, where it was named Best Value for Money Venue Group for a fourth consecutive year.
The Meetings & Incentive Travel Magazine Awards are the oldest, best established awards in the meetings industry. They a recognise and reward excellence, and are the result of voting by the readers of Meetings & Incentive Travel magazine - with votes audited and verified by the independent Audit Bureau of Circulations.
Tim Chudley, Sundial's Managing Director said, "I am extremely proud of our recognition as Best Value for Money Venue Group, with that accolade plus a further three awards it was certainly a night for waving the Sundial flag! It gives me an enormous sense of pride to be able to ensure meeting planners that we offer the utmost value and quality throughout our services. I'm extremely grateful to the whole of our dedicated team across Sundial who have made us the award-winning brand we are today."
The three Sundial venues – Highgate House, Woodside and Surrey conference hotel Barnett Hill – offer a selection of dedicated meeting rooms and conference facilities as well as a choice of complete meetings packages and teambuilding activities. Each venue is skilled at event management and regularly host events for large brand names as well as smaller local companies.
In addition to the recent BRDC VenueVerdict and Meetings & Incentive Travel Magazine Awards, the Sundial brand also saw its head chef at Highgate House, Lee Gaskins scoop the coveted ‘Chef of the Year’ title at the Carlsberg UK Food & Drink awards earlier this year. His colleague and new recruit Leighanne Harrison was named ‘Young Chef of the Year' at the same ceremony.
