Bay area rapper Berner of Bern One Entertainment has collaborated with various rap artist in the past including Slim Thug and E-40 all the while building a name for himself. This time Berner put together the ultimate team to produce what looks like might become the song of the year. Collaboration with Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa and Big K.R.I.T. ended up formulating the song "Yoko." The Asian influenced song was originally on Chris Brown's mix-tape, "Boy in Detention" and started garnering national attention. With the song rocketing up the charts and numerous downloads from the Chris Brown Mix-tape, there was a race against time to produce a hot video to showcase this all star cast.
Video producer The Razor put together a hot concept for the video and within less than 24 hours, Berner's video release for "Yoko" featuring Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa, and Big K.R.I.T. went viral with over 3.5 million views on World Star Hip Hop. Every known hip hop blog site and web magazine posted the video to their site.
Weeks later the song and video is still going strong with international airplay in Germany and England. Starting next week MTV2 will start airing the video. "Yoko" is the first song to be released from Berner's upcoming highly anticipated album 20 lights.
