“Laura’s extensive experience and background make her a perfect fit for The Fearey Group and its plans for the future,” said Aaron Blank, president of the company. “Her depth of experience and her knowledge of the digital media landscape position her well within our firm.”
Prior to joining The Fearey Group, Ray served as interim public relations director for retail design specialists Callison and senior public relations manager for leading global architecture firm NBBJ where she worked with healthcare, biotech, science, higher education, corporate and commercial clients from around the world. She also served as communications lead for the Yesler Terrace Redevelopment at the Seattle Housing Authority during the project’s environmental review process. While at NBBJ, Ray developed her passion for and focus on sustainable design with leading “green” projects such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Alley24 and the Seattle Center Garage.
“I am thrilled to be working with such a talented, passionate and fun group of people,” Ray said. “I’m honored to join a team with such a long history and superb client roster.”
In addition to her real estate expertise, Ray has worked with many of the area’s leading brands -- including Microsoft, Starbucks, REI, Brooks Running, Adidas and Paul Allen’s Experience Music Project – during her tenure at Edelman.
