In several positions throughout her career in Seattle, Hansen has demonstrated an ability to navigate the twists and turns of public policy and civic engagement. In addition to her 16 years of public and political experience, Hansen has a passion for health-related research and delivery, earning a Master’s of Science from the University of Washington’s Institute for Public Health Genetics in 2009. Hansen participated in foundational human genomics research and published a first-author scientific study in a peer-reviewed journal.
At The Fearey Group, Hansen is working with clients to address land use, regulatory, public engagement and sustainability challenges, applying her ability to understand and translate technical information into clear, concise language and actions.
The Fearey Group, which has been at the forefront of numerous public affairs campaigns, including the Seattle Streetcar campaign and the Children’s Hospital expansion, now builds its practice in this area with Hansen’s promotion.
“I relish the opportunity to put my experience to work for new clients,” said Hansen. “I’m gratified that The Fearey Group places such a high value on civic engagement and communications.”
