Premier Alliance Group (OTCBB: PIMO; Twitter: $PIMO)
is a leading provider of business and technology advisory and consulting services. Practice areas of expertise encompass Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Business Performance & Technology, and Finance & Accounting. Premier's Greenhouse division is a leading provider of energy efficiency and sustainable facilities solutions. The division designs, engineers and installs disparate products and technologies that enable its clients to reduce their energy costs and carbon footprint. Its target markets for energy efficiency solutions include government and military, as well as commercial and industrial markets.
The Company announced that its Solution Division, GreenHouse, "has been engaged to implement Southern California Edison's (SCE) Automated Demand Response (Auto-DR) program for a prominent Orange County municipality. Premier will be implementing the latest in automation and monitoring technologies utilizing the $225,000 of incentives from SCE for which the city is eligible. Once installed and operational, SCE will benefit by the municipality's ability to voluntarily load shed over 750kW of electricity during peak demand periods. This process also protects consumer prices by mitigating the need for SCE to produce electricity from older or more expensive power plants."
Premiers' GreenHouse division is a qualified service provider of SCE's Auto-DR program. It provides audits, site assessment, feasibility studies, project development, engineering, as well as the installation of enabling technologies, including complete processing of all utility documents.
John Galt, President over Solutions, remarked,
"Implementing Demand Response initiatives is a primary focus of this company and we are excited to work with Southern California Edison whose Auto-DR program is a leader in the industry. Municipalities are in a great position to take advantage of SCE's program and we're very pleased Premier was selected for this opportunity."
Rob Davis, Senior Vice President of Energy Services for Premier Alliance, commented,
"This is a prime example of how ADR programs are supposed to work. Once complete, this forward thinking city will have the ability to shed enough power to support 50 average California households, but without causing significant disruption to their own day-to-day business activities."
