Time Warner Cable's YNN news team will provide team coverage of 9/11 ceremonies locally and nationally. Reporters will be live from New York City every morning and evening, with additional reporting from Washington, D.C.
Between today and Sunday, NY1 will focus on a different aspect of 9/11:
Thursday, September 8: Coverage of post-9/11 health issues and compensation
Friday, September 9: A look at how Downtown Manhattan is being rebuilt
Saturday, September 10: NY1 pays tribute to the victims of 9/11
On Sunday, September 11, NY1 will anchor continuous live coverage from the World Financial Center, which overlooks the World Trade Center site, beginning at 6 a.m. EDT. Coverage will include memorial ceremonies from the WTC site, the Pentagon and in Shanksville, Pa. A special wrap-up of the day's events will air on "New York Tonight," NY1's primetime news hour, beginning at 8 p.m. EDT.
