Time Warner Cable Offers Customers Exclusive 9/11 Programming Through Sunday

NY1 will be available to Digital Cable Customers in the Northeast for extensive coverage of 10th Anniversary

As America recognizes the 10th anniversary of 9/11, Time Warner Cable is offering customers exclusive programming focused on the events of September 11, 2001, on both YNN and NY1, Time Warner Cable's local news channel in New York City. Coverage includes recovery and rebuilding efforts and stories on the lasting effects of the worst terrorist attack in U.S. history. Customers can access NY 1 coverage on Time Warner Cable channel one (in most locations).

Time Warner Cable's YNN news team will provide team coverage of 9/11 ceremonies locally and nationally. Reporters will be live from New York City every morning and evening, with additional reporting from Washington, D.C.

Between today and Sunday, NY1 will focus on a different aspect of 9/11:
Thursday, September 8: Coverage of post-9/11 health issues and compensation
Friday, September 9: A look at how Downtown Manhattan is being rebuilt
Saturday, September 10: NY1 pays tribute to the victims of 9/11

On Sunday, September 11, NY1 will anchor continuous live coverage from the World Financial Center, which overlooks the World Trade Center site, beginning at 6 a.m. EDT. Coverage will include memorial ceremonies from the WTC site, the Pentagon and in Shanksville, Pa. A special wrap-up of the day's events will air on "New York Tonight," NY1's primetime news hour, beginning at 8 p.m. EDT.
