Triple-A Home Run Derby Airs Live on Time Warner Cable Across Upstate New York on Monday, July 9

Buffalo Bison Pascucci Represents International League in Competition

Time Warner Cable Sports will carry the live broadcast of the 2012 Triple-A Home Run Derby across Upstate New York on Monday, July 9 at 7:30 PM at Coca-Cola Field in Buffalo as part of the Triple-A All-Star Game week.

A fan-favorite event of All-Star Game week, the Triple-A Home Run Derby features the best sluggers from the International League and Pacific Coast League; players compete to find the top home run hitter in all of Triple-A baseball.  Not only will the All-Stars be trying to hit home runs, but they will also have 31 different targets to aim for, each one representing a prize to be won by either an individual fan, a section of fans, or even every fan in attendance.  “The Voice of the Bisons,” Ben Wagner and Buffalo Baseball Hall of Famer Duke McGuire will be on the field to bring fans each and every home run that’s hit.  The Buffalo Bisons are producing this event for TWC Sports.

Hometown favorite Valentino Pascucci, of the Buffalo Bisons, will represent the International League in the Home Run Derby against the Pacific Coast League.  Dan Johnson of the Charlotte Knights and Matt LaPorta of the Columbus Clippers will also represent the International League.
