What:
On the heels of Earth Day, Time Warner Cable (TWC) employees are staying “green” this season! Instead of throwing away old items during their spring cleaning, TWC’s employees are donating items to Goodwill. Even better, employees can conveniently drop off their donations at work, saving on gas fumes and time! On Thursday, April 26, employees across eastern Wisconsin will help fill a truck with their donations. The collection will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Appleton and from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Milwaukee. The media is welcome throughout the day.
Aside from the Goodwill donation drive, TWC is active in other Earth-friendly and green initiatives, such as paperless bills and customer self-installation kits, which save gas by cutting technician truck trips. TWC’s Appleton headquarters are also located in a LEED-certified building.
