Men's Italian Collection Debuts for Fall 2012


New York, NY (March 2012) - Fall 2012 marks the launch of UGG Collection for Men, footwear and accessories made in Italy using only the finest hand-sourced Italian materials and highest standards of craftsmanship.  The men’s line parallels women’s UGG Collection by delivering refined Italian styling and materials paired with the exquisite feel of UGG.  The Fall ‘12 line is inspired by an era of rock music that was fueled by an unbending faith to authenticity and truth, exemplified by the rock legends of the 60’s and 70’s.  Edgy and bold designs that were born from the non-conformity and individuality of that era are infused into UGG Collection’s innovative designs for Fall 2012.

The men’s Fall ’12 UGG Collection line builds on to the success of the Fall ’11 launch of UGG for Men, showing a strong commitment to continue to grow the men’s business. In response to male consumers desire to have a “dedicated men’s space” UGG will open the first-ever UGG for Men Store in June 2012 on Madison Avenue in New York City. The flagship store will be adjacent to the current UGG Australia flagship store and carry the full line of men’s products, including the UGG Collection.


The materials featured in UGG Collection are all hand-sourced in Italy. Hand-dipped and hand painted leathers create colors and deep textures and a one of a kind look. Buffalo leathers, waxed wool shafts and stacked leather heels are all used to embody the spirit of rock and take UGG Collection to the edge.


The Nevio features a traditional buck silhouette with rough suede uppers. Blown EVA outsole adds a great UGG feel, with top painted finish to show a pop of color.  The outsole showcases a rugged tread for a true rock edge.

 The Allcott is a traditional spectator silhouette with a broken in look and feel. Featuring brogue details and incorporating welted Blake construction that is hand-stitched to the upper.


The Vanni is a traditional lace up boot that has been hand finished and hand dipped for a broken in look. Features a stacked leather heel and a hand modified mock toe with Italian wool shaft. 

The Nigel is rock-inspired Café Racer boot made with hand-dipped, broken in buffalo leather. Brass buckles wrap both the shaft and heel, and a stacked leather heel finishes off this signature boot. 

The Ruggero is crafted using a traditional hiker silhouette and features a heavy tread outsole with hand-dipped buffalo leather, a stacked leather heel and a Twinface sheepskin shaft.

 The Men’s Collection Accessories features two gloves made from rich Italian leather.  A functional wrist buckle and touch of shearling adds a rocker edge.
