Seale, is a healthcare field veteran with nearly 30 years of experience as a healthcare administrator, consultant and clinician. Seale is a registered nurse, with clinical experiences in general surgical, orthopedic and neurosurgical nursing. She served as a manager of quality analysis at two San Diego area hospitals, Scripps Memorial Hospital and Kindred Hospital, and City of Hope National Medical Center in Duarte, Calif. She is also a sought-after consultant in the areas of quality and risk management, CMS/Title 22 regulatory readiness, and medical-legal analysis. Prior to becoming a nurse, Seale managed various medical practices.
Seale's initial undergraduate education was as a classically trained pianist and vocalist. She later returned to school to become a registered nurse. She possesses an associate degree in nursing from Maric College, a Bachelor and Master of Science in nursing from the University of Phoenix, and an MBA in healthcare administration from the University of Phoenix. Seale has also earned certifications as a public health nurse and in forensic nursing. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society for Nursing, as well as the California Association for Healthcare Quality, and the National Association for Healthcare Quality. In 2007, Seale was selected as the Faculty Member of the Year as well as the Rookie Faculty of the Year for the College of Nursing at the University of Phoenix San Diego Campus.
