Film Annex has established a production and editorial department since 2009, with the intention of helping Filmmakers and content providers improve the quality of their content. Film Annex collaborations include organizations like NATO, content from The White House, and independent Filmmakers like Abel Ferrara.
From the Amazon Studios website:
"Amazon Studios is offering a total of $7,000 in awards for the best promo videos created for any series on the Amazon Studios site. You have between 10 and 60 seconds to briefly communicate the idea of a show and its visual style. It can be live action, animation, even an animatic or storyboard."
Francesco Rulli, CEO of Film Annex stated:
"There is a market need to monitor and professionalize content. Amazon is following the footsteps of Film Annex and most recently YouTube, as Amazon is running a contest to pay Filmmakers. Reality is Amazon will get lots of content for that $7000. Film Annex also runs a contest, but more importantly, we offer our Filmmakers 50% of revenues EVERYDAY."
