VivaKi Nerve Center Hires Geoff Smith to Head up Audience On DemandT Activation Team

Industry's Biggest Trading Desk Expands Team Following Substantial Growth

London – Following substantial growth of the Audience on Demand™ (AOD) platform, VivaKi’s dedicated R&D entity, the Nerve Center, today announces the expansion of its AOD team in the UK with several new hires, including Geoff Smith as Head of Activation. Geoff and his team will work very closely with VivaKi agencies to ensure AOD remains the industry’s leading trading desk, enabling the agencies to produce the very best campaign results, data management and buying strategies for their clients.

In addition, Geoff and his team will also work very closely with the Head of Product for AOD, Paul Silver who has been responsible for implementing and refining the AOD product roadmap for the UK. Moving forwards Paul will be responsible for data, inventory and technology partnerships, linking in with the teams in the US and seeking out product development and emerging solutions in areas such as video, mobile and addressable TV.  

Geoff joins the VivaKi Nerve Center (VNC) with an impeccable track record having carved out a successful career spanning over eight years in the online advertising industry. Prior to joining the VNC, he was Technology Consultant Director at MEC where he was responsible for the UK’s DSP, retargeting and dynamic creative optimization strategies as well as helping oversee technology integration and data management across the agency. Before this Geoff worked at GroupM as a Digital Operations Specialist, providing a centralised consultancy resource for tracking, accountability and best practice across each of the GroupM agencies.

Recent hires to the AOD Activation Team also include Jenny Hubbard as AOD Activation Manager and Yu-Hsuan Lin as AOD Activation Executive. Jenny joins with extensive experience in the Ad Exchange environment having previously worked at ad exchange start-up GDM and most recently in ad operations at TMP Worldwide.  Yu-Hsuan Lin joins VivaKi from Schneider Trading Associate Ltd where he was a Trader. Further hires to the AOD Activation Team will be announced early in 2012.
