AACS to Host College Fair

Students Gain Access to More than 50 Colleges Participating

On Monday, April 23, 2012, Annapolis Area Christian School will host the 18th Annual AACS College Fair from 6:30 pm- 8:00 pm at the Kilby Athletic Center located at the AACS Upper School in Severn at 109 Burns Crossing Road. This event is free and open to the public. The College Fair serves as a great opportunity for students to visit with more than 50 colleges, including Christian colleges, state schools, and U.S. service academies. Participants will be able to explore higher education options, compare data, and speak directly with University representatives. The Maryland Higher Education Commission will also be on-hand to assist students and parents in learning more about financial aid options available.

"Our students truly benefit from the AACS College Fair as it provides an up-close and personal orientation into their college selection process. AACS students and their families can get answers to specific questions that aid in their decision-making," said Toye Griffin, Director of AACS College and Career Services. "The 2012 AACS College Fair makes it easy to take the first steps in sorting out which college matches a student’s personal goals by providing students the opportunity to speak face-to-face with counselors and admission representatives," she added.
