Annapolis Area Christian School (AACS) Appoints Leadership Transition Team


The Board of Directors of Annapolis Area Christian School announces the members of the Leadership Transition Team recently appointed to assist the Board with AACS leadership tasks and activities while the search is underway for the new Superintendent.   The four-person Leadership Transition Team includes:

  • ·         Jane Brown, principal, Upper School, has been with AACS for approximately 13 years and has been an educator for 35 years.  In addition to her duties as principal, she also teaches AP economics in the Upper School.
  • ·         Rick Slenk, principal, Middle School joined AACS in 1981 as a History teacher and has led the middle school since 1997.  He has attended every AACS graduation since 1985.
  • ·         Nancy Pavlischek, principal, Lower School, is in her 14th year with AACS and has been an educator her entire career.  Specializing in elementary education, she is a strong advocate for building character along with strong academics.
  • ·         Glen Cole, business manager, has been with AACS since August, 2011.  Cole has previously worked with Apple, Gateway and entrepreneurial start-ups as well as non-profits including churches and education. He has more than 25 years of business management experience.
