Yamaha 242 Limited S Begins Boat Show Season with Zenith Award

Trailer Boats Magazine Honors Yamaha for Best Overall Design

KENNESAW, Ga. -- The 24-foot Yamaha 242 Limited S begins its second year of production with two important distinctions. Yamaha's flagship model finished 2010 as the best-selling boat in its category and begins 2011 as Trailer Boats Magazine's Zenith Award honoree, awarded to the best overall boat design today.

"We thank Yamaha for pushing the bounds of boat design with the 242 Limited S," said Trailer Boatsr Publisher/Editorial Director, Jim Hendricks. "It is this kind of vision that the Trailer Boats Excellence in Design Awards program is intended to recognize, and the Zenith Award represents the height of this recognition."

The Yamaha 242 Limited S takes Yamaha Boats to the next level of sophistication and refinement by offering customers:

Innovative, forward facing "rumble seats" in the ultra wide bow
Twin high output Yamaha marine that out accelerate anything else in their class
A stern swim platform just inches above the water
A sound system with built in iPod dock
The most spacious cockpit design in its class.

"We are excited to begin the boat show season with this prestigious award for the Yamaha 242 Limited S," said Bryan Seti, Yamaha's national marketing manager. "Boat shows are not only an excellent opportunity for consumers to see the Yamaha entire lineup of 2011 Yamaha Boats, but they are also a venue where consumers can find some of the best deals they will see all year long."
