10 a.m. Pacific--SEATTLE--The 30-year fixed mortgage rate on Zillow Mortgage Marketplace is currently 4.42 percent, up four basis points from 4.38 percent at this same time last week. After peaking at 4.43 percent on Friday, the 30-year fixed mortgage rate fluctuated between 4.36 percent and 4.37 percent for the rest of the weekend, and then rose again to 4.44 percent early this morning before falling to the current rate.

The rate for a 15-year fixed home loan is currently 3.55 percent, while the rate for a 5-1 adjustable-rate mortgage (ARM) is 2.87 percent.
