A show with two exhibitions, "Walk the Line" features an installation of ceramic pieces by Seattle-based artist Diem Chau and "Soundslike," a ceramic speaker exhibition curated by Joey Roth.
Diem Chau's ceramic works present the viewer with delicate vignettes of fleeting memory, gesture and form. The resulting pieces combine storytelling, myths and their ability to connect us to each other through cultural and humanistic similarities.
Joey Roth's "Soundslike" debuted in New York at ICFF 2010 and is a collaboration between Mr. Roth and artists and designers to create a unique series of works, each interpreting Mr. Roth's creations through their own eyes. Filmmaker David Lynch, NOOKA founder and chief designer Matthew Waldman and Texas-based rising stars Justin Boyd and Carlos Rosales-Silva have created a unique series of works that transform functional objects into works of art.
Ceramic exhibitions "Walk the Line" with creations by Diem Chau and "Soundslike," curated by Joey Roth, with ceramic speakers re-interpreted by hand-selected designers and artists.
