MotivationalSpeakerz.com Hired To Empower Youth at State-Wide Con-ference in Reno, NV

WATERLOO, IA - What do Iowans, fashion shows, hip-hop, and foster youth all have in common? They were all part of this year's State-Wide Youth Conference in Reno, NV! The conference, held by the State-Wide Youth Advisory Board and Washoe County Social Services, featured motivational speakers for the third year in a row.

The dynamic speakers on hand provided by Motivational Speakers received amazing reviews and multiple testimonial videos raving about their energetic performances and presentations. "We were even told by the event coordinator that they want to bring us back every year after," says the founder of MotivationalSpeakerz.com.

The two started off the conference with a keynote performance that really hit home for the foster and adoptive youth from the state of Nevada. With each professional having their own personal background of foster care and abuse, and because they understand growing up in a city with one of the highest black male conviction rates in the country, these speakers connected with the youth.

"We reinforced the importance of self-expression, breaking "chains" (negative life cycles), and succeeding Against All Odds," says Rogan of the performance. The speakers specialize in working with foster youth and at-risk populations. Using music, poetry, and powerful stories that offer life lessons, all the orators on hand gave the foster and adoptive youth of Nevada hope and advice for the future.

"Many of the youth shared how they related to us and everyone we talked to kept saying how our music is 'amazing' because it is so much like regular hip-hop, but it has a positive message," says Rogan.

The conference included two performances by each individual.

The inspirational keynote speakers doubled as emcees for a fashion show that showcased the do's and don'ts of fashion when going to job interviews. With each speaker using their humor and energy to interact with the crowd and the hilarity of watching the youth and social workers "model" their outfits, the fashion show was definitely a highlight of the conference.

The conference was a great way for the youth of Nevada to come together and share, learn, and be inspired. As a youth speaker there are many ways to relate to at-risk youth. Dante' and Travis seem to find every way possible.

"We spent time getting to know the youth. We listened to their personal stories and offered advice. We even went bowling with them! This is something that most speakers don't do," says Rogan. Needless to say, the motivational speakers are already looking forward to next year's conference. Until then, all the speakers will be keeping plenty busy as they head to New Jersey for their next youth conference.
