Pentel Gets Patriotic - Partners with Semper Fi Fund New Stars & Stripes Edition Pens Help Support Our Troops

For Immediate Release

June 2017, Torrance, CA – Pentel of America, manufacturer of high-quality pens, pencils and art supplies has just launched a new series of ballpoint and gel pens featuring the Stars & Stripes. These pens were specifically designed as part of an exclusive, charitable series that donates a portion of each sale to the Semper Fi Fund, a non-profit organization that provides immediate financial assistance and support to post-9/11 wounded, critically ill and injured members of all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, and their families, ensuring that they have the resources they need during their recovery and transition back to their communities.

“Pentel of America has been a proud supporter of our troops for over 50 years,” states Pentel Trade Marketing Manager Jason Cole. “The opportunity to partner with the Semper Fi Fund has given us the ability to show our support in a broader way. Each of these special edition pens is draped in a stylish American flag design that instantly shows off the patriotism of the person writing with it. They are not only great looking; they are wonderful to write with and, best of all, they give back to a fantastic cause. We’re proud to show our support.”

“American pride and a commitment to our military are traits exemplified by both Pentel and the Semper Fi Fund,” said Semper Fi Fund President, CEO and Founder Karen Guenther. “We are grateful to Pentel for joining in our efforts of serving those who preserve our freedom. This is a fun and exciting way to give back to our military men and women.”

The most popular models Pentel sells – EnerGel RTX gel pens and RSVP ballpoint pens – will receive the Stars & Stripes treatment. Each comes in a variety of pack sizes, and for each pack sold, Pentel will donate five cents to the Semper Fi Fund. You can find the Stars & Stripes Edition pens at your local office supply superstore.
