About Broseph’s Restaurant Group

Business partners Justin Safier and Travis Lester formed Broseph’s Restaurant Group (BRG) in July 2010 out of a passion and love for the restaurant industry, as well as a mutual belief that the restaurant industry lacked options with an outstanding culinary experience paired with an elevated atmosphere. In December 2010, the duo opened their first restaurant, Bar Esquina, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and 14 months later in February 2012, opened their second concept, Brick+Mortar, in Santa Monica, California. BRG launched its third concept, Fatty’s Public House, in West Hollywood, California in the fall of 2012. In July 2018, BRG entered the Kansas City market by acquiring Chappell’s, a 32-year-old restaurant and bar in North Kansas City, Missouri, known across the nation for its vast, museum-quality collection of sports memorabilia. The second location of Brick+Mortar opened on June13, 2019, in Kansas City’s Waldo neighborhood. For more information, visit
