Monday Dispatch: Fraud, Theft & Destruction of Property

(Jackson, Wyo.) – Here is a recap of local dispatch and law enforcement activity from yesterday in the Town of Jackson and Teton County. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until proven guilty. There were 36 calls to the area dispatch on Monday, November 9. *Crime Reports and Arrests * Fraud: At 9:17 a.m. on Monday, an anonymous report was received by the Jackson Police Department that a person was working at multiple different locations in Jackson using another person’s Social Security number. According to the Jackson PD, follow-up is continuing to determine the validity of the complaint. Theft: On Monday at 5:24 p.m., the Jackson Police Department received a report that a medical patient had injected himself with a small amount of narcotic medication prior to fleeing the facility. The report will be sent to the prosecutor for review. Destruction on Property: At 11:42 p.m. on Monday night, a Jackson Police officer responded to a local motel in reference to a window that had been broken in a motel room. The occupant of the room was gone and returned to find the window damaged. At this time there are no leads. *Collisions* There were four total auto collisions yesterday, including one hit and run. Hit and Run: On Monday at 10:47 a.m., a subject reported to the Jackson Police Department that his vehicle was parked on the street while he was at work. The next day he noticed damage. There are no leads. *Other* Other dispatch reports included animal control calls, lost and found property, medical assists, road hazards, and citizen assists. #buckrail
