(Jackson, Wyo.) - Teton County Public Health has lifted the boil water order for Rafter J, Adam’s Canyon and South Park Service Center. Test results from two consecutive days of testing indicate no bacterial contamination of the water. Based on EPA guidelines for this situation the water is now deemed safe to drink. The Boil Water Order went into effect after a water main break on Highway 89 on Tuesday morning.
Teton County Health Officer, Dr. Travis Riddell stated, “We want to thank
all of the residents and businesses in the affect area for their patience
in this matter and we are happy to confirm that the drinking water is safe.”
