Organizations host "No School Day" events for kids k-8

(Jackson, Wyo.) - Today, there is no school for the kids grades kindergarten through 8th in Teton County School District #1 and local organizations are hosting special events for the kids. From 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., kids in grades k - 5 are invited to the National Museum of Wildlife Art to explore new exhibits along with puppet storytelling and bison art making. The cost of the workshop is $50 for members and $60 for non members. Those interested can register through the Art Association at 307-733-6379. From 3 - 6 p.m., kids of all ages are invited to the Jackson Hole Children's Museum to build bison habitats. The event is free for members and $8 general admission.
