Jackson locals visiting Paris share their experience of the terrorist attacks

(Jackson, Wyo.) - Jackson residents Jenny and Andy Davis were in Paris yesterday during the terrorist attacks. They are both safe and now in Geneva, Switzerland, but shared their experience there with Buckrail. "We were in the Saint Germaine area of Paris so south from where the terror attacks were," said Jenny. "We didn't know anything had happened until our phones woke us up with multiple messages from friends and family checking that we were ok. The metro was shut down and taxis were giving free rides." She went on to say, "We weren't sure if we would be able to leave this morning to Geneva as the French borders were closed. This morning we took an uber to the train station with no trouble. Everything seemed pretty much normal. We saw a few armed guards patrolling the street and a few more at the station. Glad we weren't nearer to the tragedies. Very sad."
