(Jackson, Wyo.) - The Jackson Hole Airport received two proposals as a response to the recent request for proposals (RFP) for the transportation contract. According to Airport Director Jim Elwood, Alltrans, LLC, and Black Car, LLC, both submitted proposals to provide shuttle and Ride2Fly services. The Airport Board will be holding a "Special Meeting" tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m. to consider the proposals. The airport received an email notification on October 15
that Alltrans planned to end
service. The term of the current shuttle contract was supposed to continue
through October 31, 2017.
Alltrans has been providing shuttle services at the airport for 20 years,
including the Ride2Fly shuttle, taxi and executive charter services. In
December 2014, just after Alltrans was purchased by Wide Range Rides, the
company signed a three-year contract with the airport.
