(Jackson, Wyo.) - Starting today, the Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club (JHSC) and Snow King will host a field of international, elite-level racers at the four-day NorAm Slalom Series event. "This is one level below World Cup racing and is the biggest race series Jackson has hosted since 2004. We look forward to hosting an event of this caliber,” said JHSC alpine program director Bridger Call states. Additionally, JHSC is seeking volunteer gate keepers to help with the elite-level races. Volunteers will be responsible for keeping track of racers’ bib numbers and their movements through the course. Shifts are 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. each day with a lunch break. Those interested can contact Audrey at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 307-733-6433. Ladies’ Slalom is today and tomorrow, November 24 - 25, and Men’s Slalom is November 26 - 27 (Thursday and Friday). The public is encouraged to come out to Snow King Mountain to watch the world-class racing today through 27. More information is available on the Jackson Hole Ski and Snowboard Club website.
