Winter storm to bring 3-5 inches of snow today and tomorrow

(Jackson, Wyo.) - The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 12 p.m. today through 5 p.m. Thanksgiving day. According to the advisory, "periods of snow will move into the western valleys this afternoon. Snow will be moderate to heavy at times this evening through Thursday morning. Snow will taper off from north to south late Thursday afternoon." The NWS predicts 3 - 5 inches of snow during this storm. Due to blowing snow and cooler temperatures, travel may be hazardous, especially on mountain masses.
