(Jackson, Wyo.) - We all tout shopping local for the holidays to support small businesses and boost the local economy, but how do you take it a step further to help the local artist? Teton County is home to some fabulous artists, so we compiled a list of local markets where you can shop your favorite local artists for holiday gifts: *1. Art Market Days* Each week in December, the Art Association of Jackson Hole will feature eight to ten artists at their Art Market Days at the Art Association Gallery at 240 S. Glenwood. The market is on the following dates: *Teton MudPots Ceramics Sale* - Wednesday, December 2: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. - Thursday, December 3: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. - Friday, December 4: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. - Saturday, December 5: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. *Art Market* - Wednesday, December 9: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. - Thursday, December 10: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. - Friday, December 11: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. - Saturday, December 12: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. *2. POP UP SHOP* POP UP SHOP is a one-day event featuring local artisans Lisa Walker, Padgett Hoke, Ben Blanton, Valerie Seaberg, Lisa Daily, Jenny Dowd, Wild Iris Press, Abby Paffrath, Workshop, and more. The event is on Saturday, December 5 from 12 - 4 p.m. at Inversion Yoga, 290 N. Millward St. in Jackson. More information on the event is available on the Facebook event page

Held at the Old Wilson Schoolhouse Community Center, the Holiday Gift Show
features gifts from local artists Valerie Seaberg, Laurie Thal, Meggan
Stordahl and Carolyn Little, Jenny and Sam Dowd, Nancy Carson, Sharon Rudd,
Diane Awuv, Clairey Grubbs, Abby Paffrath, Kristen Simpson, Diane Benefiel
and Dee Parker, Nancy Hogenson, and Siobhan Elder.
The Holiday Gift Show is on Saturday, December 12 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. at
the Old Wilson Schoolhouse Community Center, 5655 Main Street in Wilson.
