Lifts to roll on Snow King Mountain's 77th season

(Jackson, Wyo.) - Jackson's town hill will open to the public tomorrow for its 77th season. On its first day of the season, Snow King Mountain will open the Cougar Lift and the tow rope at 10 a.m. “Following the NorAms, we’ve got some of the best conditions in the valley on the open terrain,” said Snow King Mountain General Manager Ryan Stanley. They are hoping to open the Rafferty Lift, night skiing and the King Tubes by December 19, according to Snow King Marketing Director Keely Heron. The summit Lift and terrain park opening dates are still to be determined, depending on natural snowfall. Aside from skiing, snowboarding and tubing, Snow King Mountain will open some new attractions in time for the holidays. Herron says she hopes that the Cowboy Coaster will be running soon and the Treetop Adventure Course will be open select days this month.
